Nobody arrives knowing these insurance rules. We have a curriculum for it and we expect to teach it. What we cannot teach is the instinct to check a number before repeating it.
What you would do
- Work claims, payments, rejections, and unpaid balances
- Track every denial to a reason and an owner
- Escalate anything the process does not recognise, rather than guessing
- Help keep the reason-code map current
What we are looking for
- Careful, methodical, and genuinely bothered by things that do not reconcile
- Good English. You will be reading payer correspondence daily
- Available for the afternoon-to-midnight shift
